First day in Vattholma.

16th august:
I'm so happy right now and I can't imagine feeling homesick when I am in Sweden.  But I probably will. Not in summer, because swedish summer's are the best. Homesickness doesn't hit you when your happy. Everythings so beautiful here. Nature, people. I really don't want to go home. I didn't expected Sweden like this. I guess I just had no expectations. And now I'm surprised and even though I don't like cold weather, I think I chose the right country.

I can't speak swedish. Eveyone talks to me in english. But I already learned some new words.  I can say what the time is. But it takes me a long time. My hostfamily tries to add new swedish words when they talk to me. And they gave me a lot of swedish children's books. Because the swedish is very simple in children's books. So it's easy to understand and improve my swedish. Everyone is so nice to me and they really trying to getting me involved. My hostfather is a gymnastic- and parkourtrainer. And tomorrow (monday) I will already start the training. We had a long conversation about parkour and the gym yesterday and he showed me some pictures and videos. I'm really looking forward to go there. On tuesday my hostmother and me will visit my school and I will talk to the headmaster
I have a lot of questions. I need to write them out on paper so I don't forget any of them. That would be bad. I'm already afraid of my first day in school. I won't find a single classroom. Everyone knows my sense of direction is the worst. I can't even find my classrooms in my german school. I have gone to this school for 6 years now and it is not too big... But Lundellska skålan is probably a lot bigger. Anyway, asking where my classroom is is a great opportunity to talk to people. (just trying to be positive) Everyone is tired of speaking english. Literally tired. I go to bed early.
Today we're going to Uppsala. I will buy a SIM card and some stuff for my room at IKEA.
My school starts next monday (8/24). So I have some time left for learning swedish, enjoying the summer and spending time with my hostfamily.
